S.F. Bay Area - "Silicon Valley"
Early morning fog cover starting to burn off the valley. The Santa Clara Valley was nicknamed "Silicon Valley" in the early 1970's by Don Hoeffler, an American journalist. It originally referred to the south bay region from Palo Alto down through San Jose. Silicon Valley also accounts for one-third of all of the venture capital investment in the United States.Read More
